Receiving Cattle

We received 20 semi-loads of cattle on Tuesday. We hurried down after naptime to document the second day of receiving cattle.

Hope You Enjoy!  Don’t mess with Dino the cowdog!

He is one of Chris’s 4 cowdogs, and after witnessing this I almost forgave him for chewing a hole in my double jogging stroller. It really is awesome to watch these dogs work for Chris! He can move 1000 yearlings by himself with the help of his cowdogs.Grandpa George helping back a semi up, and sitting in the ranger with his best friend Jazz. This picture makes me smile.

Our home is in the distance…the puffy clouds of Wyoming…my dear dear boys who are growing and changing…

It was just a perfect way to end the day. Fischer exclaimed “mom take a picture of us running in the field.”

Wonderful set of pics Katiedid…gosh there are at least 4 of these that could be published in a photo book…the one where Chris is riding along the fence with that Wyoming wind…the one with the dogs working, the boys running with that big sky overhead…the dogs and horse in the background with the barbwire..really neat perspectives…you just keep getting better and better.
