Turning 4

Hazen is just about to turn 4. His birthday party is this Saturday (although his real birthday is the 22nd), and the theme is all about fire trucks.

We decided to take some photos to remember Hazen being 4 on Saturday evening.

A few things I don’t want to forget about our evening together…

shirt on inside out

brown cowboy boots with green baggy pants

he looked like he usually does after a busy day of playing in the sand pit & riding his bike

that night his brother & him had just learned to ride their bikes without training wheels

actually love the ‘raggamuffin’ state he was in that evening

still sucks his thumb, and can have quite an ATTITUDE when it comes to doing anything mom asks (definitely working on this!)

PS Don’t you just love the tag sticking out the back of his shirt? It sure made me smile!

Cute pictures, Kate! I do like your little stories that go along with your pictures. Kids…especially boys….are always so proud when they can ride a bicycle without the training wheels. Have a great birthday party. Linda

Happy 4th Birthday to Hazen on the 22 of August. Love his pictures, such a cute boy and great expressive facial features. He does remind us of our little guy, grandson, Owen. They are quite similar, as I have mentioned before, and would be pals if they lived closer to one another. Aidan also will be starting kindergarten this fall on August 29, big times for these little ones, but they do think they are so big now. As we all know, times fly’s, and our little one (Katie) is 31 years old, but seems like yesterday she was just starting school herself! Take care and I enjoy your fb messages!

Chuck and Dick will be in Montana soon for their annual fishing trip out west; that will continue for years, God willing! Take care now! Hugs, Melissa and Chuck
