there are certain things about my mom that I never want to forget…

her hands, the funny little divet in her thumb nail, the way she looks at you with genuine concern

the way she always puts other people first, the way that she is able to help other people deal with death and dying as a palliative care nurse, the way she is looking at her first grand daughter

I love you mom.

I appreciate the sacrifices you made for me now more than ever.

Precious indeed! I miss my mother too, but I know I will see her again in Heaven.
Moms are just so special and unique, the good ones anyway!
