Bottoms Up Finals
These two boys were so ready to run free and explore when they arrived at the ranch. I took several shots of them just playing...and in Kal's case falling. The silly dried up cow pies kept tripping him, and it didn't help that his cowboy hat was kinda heavy!I tried a few new locations for this photo session. I love that with each session it pushes me to find new areas on the ranch. This mama brought lots of special things from home. One of my favorite items was little Kal's bear. His name was Micheal Benet, and it was his uncle's bear when he was a little boy. We will never know how his uncle came up with such a name for a bear. I love that little Kal is still calling him the same thing, and loves him just as much. I even included a shot of him giving his bear a ride on the saddle.Kal was able to ride on his Dad's saddle, and Baylen brought his fancy chaps and calf rope.We also made sure to take a few pictures of just Mom & Dad together. I have had several of my clients tell me "we haven't taken a picture of just the two of us since our wedding."It was a beautiful fall evening, and I sure had fun capturing this sweet family and the things that are special to them.I included a few storyboards at the end of the slideshow. I can switch the pictures to however you prefer.Hope you enjoy! The Rancher's Wife Kate
