The Snowy Day
It was a windy, blustery, snowy day when this dear family showed up at our log house. This mama and I kept calling each other to make sure it would work for them to come out to the ranch on such a snowy day.I moved our kitchen table to have room to take pictures near the log walls in our kitchen, and cleaned up the livingroom. The wood stove was burning, and I had lots of fun blankets to choose from.I was able to buy some beautiful blankets on our trip. They were one simple color, and I was really excited to try them. Thanks to my MIL's sister I was also excited to use a beautiful textured white blanket, and a fun blue and red quilt. It is always nice when your MIL's sister runs a quilt store. It was slightly cloudy, and it created a soft light for all of the baby pictures. I also headed outside with big brother because his mama wanted some snow pictures. I can't believe he is going to be 4 years old. I took his little sister's newborn pictures, and I can't believe she is already 4 mos old!Time flies when you have little ones, and this mama knows it. It is why she makes it a point to take her kiddos pictures every couple of months!I hope you love these as much as I do. It is definitely one of my favorite sessions to date. They are such beautiful kiddos, and so well bahaved. Big Brother did everything I asked him to, and he seemed genuinely excited to take pictures with his little sister. We were even able to make little sister smile!
