New Beginnings

I'm taking part in a 52 Week Project with 17 other photographers from across the World. The 52 Week Project has been set up to have a new theme every week, and then each photographer interprets the theme and posts their picture every Friday at 9AM CST.Our theme this week is new beginnings. The first week we took a self portrait, the second week our theme was shades of red, the third week our theme was warmth, the fourth week our theme was signs, the fifth week our theme was motions & the sixth week our theme was love.It really is amazing to see how each photographer interprets the theme. You will also see some neat photographs from these ladies so be sure to click on the link at the bottom of this post to see the next photographer. New beginnings...This time last year I was hugely pregnant, and taking as many pics as I could to practice practice practice.I was trying to make sense of ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed. I was trying to define my style, and what I love as a photographer. I was trying to figure out how to create a new blog, find a domain name & create a facebook business page.I've learned lots this past year, and still have lots to learn. I think the most important thing I've learned is to try to enjoy the process, and not feel so burdened with moving on to the next thing.I'm learning how to create better boundaries online, and also pushing my boundaries with my style. This marks a new year for my business... a new beginning, and I am excited to see where it takes me.I'm excited to make mistakes, break rules & learn lots. I really can't wait! Now head over and check out Doniphan, NE child photographer Jessica Richter's blog to see how she interpreted the theme this week!
