Money
It's Friday again...goodness time flies. I can't believe how fast this 52 week Project is going. I'm participating in a 52 week project with 17 other photographers. We have a theme each week, and post a picture every Friday at 9AM Est.Our theme this week is money. If you are interested in reading more about our themes each week click here. When I saw the theme this week my thoughts immediately went to my boys' mason jars. Instead of piggy banks, they are using mason jars as their 'savings jars.' They have dimes from helping Dad pick up strings in the corral, and quarters from helping mom fold socks. There are also little pieces of paper signed by Dad as an IOU because he didn't have change at the time, but wanted to make sure to pay them for working with him.I love that my boys are learning to save at such a young age.Someday they will be able to buy their first real gun for hunting or a new car. It is amazing what just a little bit of savings every year can turn into over time. Now head over to Coastal Bend photographer Kelly Whatley's blog to see her beautiful picture.
