A Bird's Nest & A Rainbow

The boys and I went for a little adventure yesterday around our yard.The lilacs are blooming, and on our adventure we could hear bee's buzzing all around taking advantage of everything blooming. We also discovered a nest in the cove behind our house. If you look closely mama robin was very resourceful. She used a piece of wire from our yard.This spring on a very foggy day, I ran over a standing electric fence with my car. I then proceeded to drag 30+ feet of wire home because I could not figure out how to untangle it from underneath my car. My husband was thrilled with this entire experience (he had to spend another day fixing the fence he had just fixed!) , and my boys proceeded to play wire stuck in the their play cars for weeks afterwards.A very humbling experience, and one I could not forget because of mama robin's resourcefulness! She was a very protective mama, and kept squaking at us from up above. The last two pictures were taken the very same day. I love rainbows, and this was the scene from our deck that evening.Hope You Enjoy!
