Summertime

I can't believe that summer is almost over. Is it Friday again? I can already feel a crispness in the air.I'm participating in a 52 week project with 16 other photographers. We have a theme each week, and post a picture every Friday at 9AM Est.Our theme this week is summertime.If you are interested in reading more about our themes each week click here. My preemie baby who weighed less than 3 pounds when he was born is about to start school.In exactly 17 days...He keeps asking how long, and I keep watching the days pass on the calender and wishing I could stop time for a little bit. We have already planned a dinner night out. He wants to go to Bella's Bistro. I also explained to him on Wednesday morning that I wanted to take some before school shots of him to remember. That afternoon he came running in to tell me "Mom, take some shots of me on my bike in the shop to remember. Don't you think those would be some cool summertime shots?" So I did like any mom would do.I grabbed my camera, and followed my dear boy out to the shop. Luckily, he is still at an age where taking pictures with mom is fun & exciting.

This photoshoot will always be dear to my heart.

I love you to the moon and back. My heart is aching while still celebrating this big new adventure you are about to embark on.
