Self Portrait
So this is the end of my 52 Week Project with one group, and the beginning of my 52 Week Project with another. One thing I've learned is that Friday rolls around really fast every week. This project helped me to take my camera out consistently throughout the week.Even when I was tired.Even when I was overwhelmed.Even when I was sore from doing pilates for the first time in a very long time, and just wanted to sit on the couch like a lug.I captured everyday moments with my boys that I would have otherwise glossed over, and like anything it becomes a habit to document your everyday. I am looking forward to my next 52 Week Project with a new group of ladies. The last theme & first theme is self portrait. EekThanks to my hubby for playing photographer today, and I must admit it is hard to act normal while your husband is teasing you the entire time & telling you your making a dopey face! I'm not very good at modeling so I just added lifestyle shots of me interacting with my boys. It is more true to life anyway. This is me on a typical day with my boys. My bog boots slipped on over my tights because I didn't want to wreck my nice town boots while going to check on the puppies. My puffy coat that my husband just bought me from Cabelas, and I'm surrounded by my boys. Then there is the the wispy Wyoming hair of mine that seems to blow in every direction. Seems pretty normal, and true to life to me. Now head over to Hope Toliver's blog to see her last 52 Week Post and head over to Cate Waters | Indianapolis Portrait and Wedding Photographer's blog to see her first post, and then continue on from there to see the new group of people I will be sharing my 52 Week Project with. I can't wait to go through each circle!
