Finishing up my January Posts
The exploration of the ordinary is far more poetic than may first appear.' -Kristen CookI finally had a chance to finish up my photo-a-day January Project.I only missed taking pictures two days out of the entire month. These images document Elizabeth's first month at home & how we transitioned to a 'new normal.' Our little peanut has changed so much since this time, and now has some kissable chubby cheeks. :) Hope you enjoy this peek into our ordinary days... Elizabeth was two weeks on January 23, 2013. Dusty just likes to munch apples in strange ways. :)Elizabeth making a bit of eye contact & wearing one of my favorite newborn outfits. She has already outgrown it. Her outfit says 'Pretty Girl.' I couldn't resist snapping these photos in front of our big picture window. The light was so soft and beautiful. Dusty doing 'this little piggy' on Elizabeth's toes & playing with his favorite farm animals. He wants to have a 'piggy party' when he turns three on March 31. I'm looking forward to attempting to make a 'piggy cake.'Hazen and I enjoyed making hearts while Dusty napped. I also shoved Elizabeth into a little outfit that all of my boys wore when they were newborns. She was getting a bit big for it since it was for 'up to 7 pounds,' but we managed a few pictures at least. These images are just a peek into our ordinary days around the house.Lego pieces sitting on the furniture, toys in the livingroom along with a random appleDusty's pants and a blanket on the floor from snuggling after nap time
