Receiving Cattle Memories

Yesterday we had five semis come to the ranch to drop off yearlings. For the next two weeks the semi trucks will continue to come to the ranch until we have around 3900 head of yearlings. It is always such an exciting time of year for our little family. The boys are excited to help in any way they can. I enjoy capturing this time, and it is good practice for me since wedding season is coming up. It makes me work with tricky ever changing light, and I have to think quick to capture details that might otherwise be missed. Hope you enjoy a peek into our first day of shipping! I plan to take my camera again today, and this time the big boys will be home from school.
