In the trees

My husband and I have driven past this place dozens of times checking yearlings, checking grass or putting out mineral in the ranger. I never really noticed what an awesome place it was to take pictures until this fall. It is definitely a place I will go to from now on. My clients are able to experience this beauty during our session (that we often take for granted!), and then hang it on their wall for years to come.I just took a senior boy to this spot yesterday, and tripped over frozen cow pies that were covered in snow. That is a different story for a different time. The weather was kind to us for this session. I was photographing a fellow photographer and friend with her family. We made it a point to include her in as many pictures as possible. It is easy to opt out of pictures when you are the photographer. Then you look back over several months, and find that you are not included in any photographs with your family. We decided to fix this problem during our session.I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of our session on the ranch.  This last image just makes me laugh. We were trying to attempt something artsy fartsy with the scarf, and this is what happened. I also love that her littlest is in the background with one boot sticking out of his pants, and one boot covered.
