Feeding Cows

'Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat.' Laura Ingalls WilderOn Wednesday morning, I jumped onto the trailer with my camera to take pictures during feeding. It was so fun. I was wedged in between the hay bales for a bit until it came time to start heaving the hay off the side of the trailer. The cows came running immediately so I have a few shots right at the beginning of the herd following us. A few of the cows grabbed a few bites right from the hay before it was even off the trailer. I had to wear fingerless gloves to be able to work my camera, and by the end of the ride my fingers were numb. There is just something special about being outside, and working hard to keep your animals fed. I wanted to try to capture it. Hope you enjoy!
