Treasure Hunt

Grandma left yesterday morning. We miss her so much, and now I have tons of photos to dig through. I thought I would start my posts about her trip with our treasure hunt. My mom used to do this when I was little. She would make up limericks about our surroundings, and our job was to figure out how to find the next 'limerick' in the sequence until it eventually led us to our treasure. This time she made up 10 limericks. Here is an example from limerick #5...I'm colored orange with mouth open wide smoke comes out of my top, if a fire is lit inside You will have to look within, to find where I hideIf you haven't already guessed the boys found limerick #5 in my chiminea outside on our deck. The pictures below come from their treasure hunt. They had to go upstairs, downstairs, outside and at one point figure out how to find a limerick that was stashed on our chandalier hanging in the livingroom.Hope You Enjoy! This series of pictures below makes me laugh. It was Fischer's turn to find the limerick.Grandma hid it inside the propane tanks. Fischer came running once he found it, and this is what happened.
