Day 6 & 7: 2013

We took our last Sunday afternoon drive around the ranch before baby joins our family. Dad always has his spoting scope nearby just in case there are some animals on the mountain. The boys were willing to hop out of the car for a moment so that mama could capture them in front of the mountain. I'm happy they were willing & had some fun while they were at it. Hazen still has his ski lift ticket attached to his coat from our trip to Keystone. :)I almost forgot to take a shot today. I realized as I was driving home from picking Fischer up from piano that I had not taken my camera out all day. I had taken several photos with my phone, but wanted to be sure to have a photo for this project.I've written a letter to each of my boys & given them a little chocolate and 'kissing hand' sticker in an envelope. I plan to give their letters to them tomorrow since we have to leave them with Grandpa & Grandma for a few days.I made sure to read this book to all of them this evening. If you have never read 'the kissing hand' series you really should. This story is all about how Chester raccoon wants to give his little brother back because he stops being fun to have around. Chester's mother ends up giving Chester a kiss in the palm of his hand, and then explains to him how she has enough kisses for each one of her children. I thought it was a fitting way to end our last evening at the house before baby comes home. This will be my last post for a couple of days because we are leaving tomorrow to stay with some friends. Baby is due to arrive bright and early on Wednesday morning! It seemed like this time would never come, and now it is here. I cleaned and organized and charged all the batteries in my camera and movie camera today. The pots are clean, floors mopped & vacuumed, plants are watered, windows washed and the bills are paid for this month. I've made way too many 'lists of things to do' this week, but now it is coming to a close. We are excited, nervous and ready to finally hold our baby girl in our arms. Can't wait to post pictures when we come home, and I feel up to climbing the stairs to our loft to work on the computer for a little bit.
