A Sunday Evening in May

On Sunday evening, Elizabeth and I headed down to the Miller place to check on things. The light was beautiful, and the cat Ginger was super lonesome. She scaled the entire fence around the barn to make it to Elizabeth. Then she spent a good 10 to 15 minutes just nuzzling and playing with Elizabeth on the fence. It was hysterical, and I took lots of pictures of their interaction. As the sun was setting the light around the mountain was spectacular. Elizabeth and I headed out to the field to take a few more images. I have always loved Laura Ingalls, and the last images of this blog post make me think of that time.Hope you enjoy! 'Look at my shadow mom'
